Nickel Mesh can be divided into two types: Nickel wire mesh (nickel wire cloth) and nickel expanded metal. The high strength of Nickel alloy 200/ 201 wire mesh/ wire netting also comes with high ductility strength. Nickel expanded metals are widely used as electrodes and current collectors for various kinds of batteries. Nickel expanded metal is made by expanding high quality nickel foils into mesh.
